AFC 101: Essential Tools for Navigating Life + Cancer
A New Way to Navigate Life with Cancer
An AFC 101 workshop for the breast cancer community
Cancer impacts more than just your body—it can shake your sense of identity, purpose, and connection. Whether you’re living with metastatic disease, adjusting to life after treatment, or supporting someone with cancer, the emotional toll can feel overwhelming.
That’s why A Fresh Chapter created AFC 101—a free, 90-minute virtual workshop that introduces simple language and frameworks to help you explore the complicated emotions that often come with cancer.
Led by peer facilitators who’ve experienced cancer themselves, this interactive session introduces four practical tools to help you better understand and communicate what you're feeling. Through thoughtful prompts and small-group discussion, you’ll explore new ways to navigate the emotional side of cancer—with space to reflect, connect, and take a meaningful step forward.
The July 23rd session is designed specifically for people impacted by breast cancer—including those living with or beyond the disease, and those who are supporting someone through it.
